I have a relation:

A(id INT, name STRING, time INT, val INT)

1   a   1   1

1   a   2   2

2   b   1   1

2   b   2   3

3   b   1   1

3   b   2   1

and so on. I want to output the id and name of 1 and 2, because their val of a tuple at time 1 is lesser than the val of the tuple at time 2. I'm completely stumped here. I can't give an attempt example because I don't know how to compare a tuple sequentially.

I have a relation:

A(id INT, name STRING, time INT, val INT)

1   a   1   1

1   a   2   2

2   b   1   1

2   b   2   3

3   b   1   1

3   b   2   1

and so on. I want to output the id and name of 1 and 2, because their val of a tuple at time 1 is lesser than the val of the tuple at time 2. I'm completely stumped here. I can't give an attempt example because I don't know how to compare a tuple sequentially.
